The Winneconne Men’s Club is organization made up of local men throughout the community who have a desire to promote the welfare of others, expressed especially by the generous donation of money to good causes.
The Winneconne Men’s Club meets the second Thursday of every month throughout the year with the exception of July. Our meetings are also used as a way to give back to the local dining community by giving each restaurant an opportunity to host.
As of today the Winneconne Men’s Club has two major fundraisers. The first being the Annual Duck Dinner that has been around for many years. Then in 2021 we introduced a family friendly 5K Run/Walk fundraiser.
100% of the proceeds from these two fundraisers are donated back into our local community.
Outside of the annual donor recipients we support a wide range of other causes that are presented to us throughout the year. How this process works is by asking anyone from our local community to reach out to one of our officers for an invitation to speak at a meeting. During this time we ask that a brief synopsis of the worthy cause is presented to the club. We then have a Q & A session where club members can ask questions and vice versus. Once the presenter and club understands the request we then table the decision until the next meeting where the club can vote to determine if the cause meets our criteria and if so a nominal amount would then be set for donation.
